Position Description
The Truck Driver is responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer to support daily logistics operations. This role ensures the efficient and timely movement of materials while maintaining compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Operate a tractor-trailer to move trailers within the yard in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Transport loads to and from designated job sites ("field") in accordance with delivery schedules.
  • Transfer materials and products between company plants as required.
  • Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, including a detailed end-of-shift vehicle inspection, and promptly report any mechanical issues, damage, or safety concerns to management.
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, including proper documentation and recordkeeping.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and team members regarding load status, delays, or issues.
  • Assist with additional duties as needed to support overall operations and team objectives.

Position Requirements
High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate required.
Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) in good standing.
Minimum of 1-2 years of commercial driving experience, preferably operating tractor-trailers.
Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
