We are looking for a CDL driver with a Class A who would like to hang up their miles and instruct others. Join our team at Midwest CDL Training as a CDL Instructor in Lincoln, Ne!

As a CDL instructor, you will shape the future of people's lives by training and launching the confident, career-ready CDL drivers into the industry. Great wages, schedule, and flexibility!

You will be responsible for providing hands-on training, guidance, and support to our students as they learn the skills necessary to become successful CDL holders.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive CDL training courses to students, covering topics such as safety operations, vehicle inspections, basic skills every driver should know, etc.
  • Evaluate student performance through driving practice and skills assessments
  • Provide constructive feedback and coaching to help students improve their driving skills and knowledge
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress
  • Teach the skills you already use every day
Qualifications:
  • Valid CDL with clean driving record for at least 2 years
  • Prior experience not needed as Valerie will train you
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for teaching and mentoring others
  • Patience and adaptability since each of our trainings are individualized based on the student's needs.
  • Able to work outside in all climates and not afraid of a little dust or dirt.
  • Like some exercise - as we walk and guide our students on our lot during some of the exercises.
