OTR CDL Driver - Class A


Company Overview

Mid-South Roof Systems is a leading commercial roofing contractor serving clients nationwide. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced OTR CDL Driver (Class A Required) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting roofing materials to and from job sites across the country, ensuring timely and safe deliveries. In addition to standard CDL responsibilities, this position involves unloading materials on-site and assisting with delivery coordination. This is a full-time, on-the-road position requiring frequent nationwide travel.


Job Summary

The OTR CDL Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and professional delivery of roofing materials to project sites nationwide. This position requires strict adherence to DOT regulations, strong communication skills, and a commitment to excellent customer service. Drivers will also assist with material handling, yard organization, and coordination with the Supply Chain team as needed.


Responsibilities

Safely operate and drive commercial vehicles to transport roofing materials to various job sites nationwide.
Load and unload materials, ensuring secure, damage-free delivery.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections in compliance with DOT and company safety standards.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage in company systems (CompanyCam, Dataforma, and Motive).
Communicate effectively with team members and job site personnel during deliveries and pickups.
Adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies.
Assist with yard and material storage organization as needed.
Provide excellent customer service while representing MSRS and its core values.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
