Job description

CDL Dump Truck Driver

Burrell Trucking LLC

Burrell Trucking LLC is looking for a dependable and experienced CDL Dump Truck Driver to join our team.

This position involves hauling materials such as gravel, limestone, dirt, asphalt, fill material, and other construction materials to and from job sites. Drivers can expect workdays that may range from 8–12 hours, depending on job schedules and weather.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, safety-conscious, takes pride in their equipment, and understands the importance of showing up on time and providing professional service to our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a dump truck to haul construction materials to and from job sites
  • Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Maintain the cleanliness and overall condition of the assigned truck
  • Follow job-site instructions and all applicable safety requirements
  • Safely navigate construction sites, quarries, asphalt plants, and other loading/unloading locations
  • Maintain accurate driver logs, tickets, and other required documentation
  • Communicate with dispatch, contractors, customers, and job-site personnel
  • Report mechanical or safety concerns immediately
  • Follow DOT and company safety requirements
  • Maintain dependable attendance and arrive ready to work as scheduled
  • Represent Burrell Trucking LLC professionally while on customer and contractor job sites

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Class A or Class B CDL
  • Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred
  • Clean and acceptable driving record
  • Knowledge of commercial vehicle inspections and DOT safety requirements
  • Ability to safely operate a commercial vehicle in construction and job-site environments

Dump Truck Experience Preferred
