Job Description: Non-CDL Driver
Purpose:
The Non-CDL Driver position is a key component to the organization's success. The ideal candidate must be flexible, self-motivated, and organized. This candidate must have a professional demeanor and great customer service skills. This role requires a lot of travel with overnights. This position reports to the Project Manager.
Responsibilities:
  • Coordination of client projects and services, ensuring the success and satisfaction of our clients. This will include client communications, creation of pick lists for our warehouse team, label creation, and all other necessary paperwork.
  • Facilitates onsite client projects to ensure the project runs smoothly and ensures client satisfaction. This will include all necessary documentation and client questions during the project.
  • Oversite of third-party contractors while at client site.
  • Securing product for shipping (palletizing & shrink wrapping)
  • Driving company and rental box trucks or vans
  • Some travel will require flights (nationwide service)
  • Some travel will require overnight hotel stays
  • Loading pallets onto lift gate trucks using a pallet jack
  • Work toward issue resolution independently or with a team
  • Work in the office while at the home office to ensure that project needs are being met.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education, Skills & Experience
  • Must hold a valid driver's license
  • Must complete a DOT physical to obtain DOT Medical Card upon job offer
  • Must complete background check
  • Must be able to provide clean motor vehicle record upon job offer
  • Must have an open and flexible schedule for pickup dates
  • Exceptional customer service, communication and time management skills
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 50lbs repetitively; must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Attention to detail and committed to managing problems through resolution
  • Experience with ERP systems is a plus
