As a CDL Container Driver, your day usually begins with pre-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and regulatory compliance before heading out to collect, transport, and deliver containers. You’ll operate container trucks to move freight between ports, warehouses, and distribution centers, often following strict delivery schedules. Drivers are also responsible for securing loads, completing required paperwork or digital logs, and communicating any issues or delays with dispatch or clients.
