Common vehicles they drive include straight trucks, dump trucks, delivery trucks, and some buses. These drivers are required to pass both knowledge and skills tests, and often need to meet additional requirements depending on the type of vehicle and cargo. CDL Class B drivers play a vital role in industries like transportation, construction, and waste management.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a CDL Class B driver?

CDL Class B drivers often encounter challenges such as tight delivery schedules, navigating urban areas with large vehicles, and dealing with variable weather or traffic conditions.
