CDL Class B Driver

Lingo Staffing is hiring a CDL Class B Driver in East Hartford, CT

Schedule: M-F 5:30a- until deliveries are completed Pay rate: $22-$26 DOE Over time as needed

Job Duties:
  • Operate a Class B CDL flatbed delivery truck
  • Deliver doors, door frames, and construction materials to commercial and residential customers
  • Load, secure, transport, and unload materials
  • Complete pre-trip/post-trip inspections and delivery paperwork
  • Use material-handling equipment as needed
  • Communicate professionally with customers and the office
  • Follow all DOT/FMCSA and company safety requirements
  • Work independently on most deliveries

Delivery Territory: Approximately 90% Connecticut, with occasional deliveries to Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New York.

Requirements:
  • Valid CDL Class B license
  • Clean driving record
  • 2+ years of Class B experience preferred
  • Construction, building-material, flatbed, or delivery experience is a plus
  • Candidates with 3-6 months of construction/building-material experience are encouraged to apply
  • Strong safety and customer-service mindset
  • Comfortable working independently and outdoors
Physical Requirements:

This is an active delivery position. Candidates must be comfortable lifting and handling construction materials, including doors and door frames weighing up to approximately 110 lbs., climbing onto trailers, securing loads, and working at active job sites.
