What is a CDL Class A driver?

This license allows them to operate vehicles with a gross combination weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 pounds or more, provided the vehicle being towed is over 10,000 pounds. CDL Class A drivers typically drive tractor-trailers, semi-trucks, and other large commercial vehicles across long distances.
