Job description

CDL Class A Driver

We are seeking a professional, safety-oriented CDL Class A Driver for OTR. You will be responsible for the timely and safe transport of general freight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle (CMV).
  • Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections (DVIRs) and ensure all loads are properly secured.
  • Manage necessary paperwork (e.g., bills of lading, manifests) and adhere to all DOT regulations, including HOS rules.
  • Maintain open communication with dispatch regarding delays, issues, and delivery status.
  • Ensure timely delivery while providing exceptional service to customers at pickup and delivery sites.

Required Qualifications

  • License: Must possess a valid CDL Class A license.
  • Experience: 12 month verifiable commercial driving experience.
  • Compliance: Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and ability to pass all DOT drug and alcohol screenings.
  • Physical: Ability to meet all physical demands of the job, including securing the loads and providing all of the documentation.
