What The Role Entails
CloudHQ seeks a Mission Critical Coordinator with a solid background in data center operations experience to join our Operations Team. You'll play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of our facility, reporting to Senior Operations Manager. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive knowledge of large-scale data centers. In addition, the successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of building monitoring systems that assist in the operation and management of the electrical distribution and mechanical systems.
The Mission Critical Coordinator shall schedule, coordinate and participate in all significant planned and emergency maintenance for the facility. The Mission Critical Coordinator shall ensure that these activities are executed in a controlled and proven method that ensures the uninterrupted integrity of the critical loads supported by these systems. Your skills and expertise will be fully utilized as you work collaboratively with our team to ensure the smooth running of our operations. This is a great learning opportunity for an entry level candidate to grow within the company.
Requirements
What You Will Get to Do
  • Implement operating and maintenance strategies to ensure the continuous availability of all critical systems.
  • Review preventative and predictive maintenance programs for critical equipment.
  • Implement procedures and maintenance checklists within the site's CMMS platform.
  • Coordinate and inspect services performed by outsourced vendors.
  • Manage costs and budgets associated with the infrastructure and associated operations.
  • Maintain an environment where diligence in policies and proven processes is quintessential.
  • Ensure best practices and standards are adopted and enforced.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for innovation.
  • Establish and cultivate relationships with key contacts internally and externally.
  • Collaborate with design and development teams to ensure the best possible electrical solutions are incorporated in our facilities.

What You Bring to The Role
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Expertise in: Popular Microsoft Office Suite applications, Bluebeam Revu, Teams and Zoom meeting platforms.
  • Proven written communication skills and technical writing skills.
  • Complex problem-solving using analysis, technical and organizational expertise.
  • Identify industry trends and articulate implications that will have an impact on the Data Center operations.
  • Identify opportunities to increase efficiency.
  • Extended hours may be significant at times.
  • Ability and willingness to respond to emails after hours in the event of an emergency.

  • Two (2) years of professional experience in operations and maintenance in a high-reliability Data Center environment.
  • Certified Data Center Professional (CDCP) or equivalent.
