  • Well established Hospitalist program since 2006, currently includes 20 physician & 4 APP's
  • Care team support that includes 5 dedicated hospitalist RNs for care coordination and rounding efficiency + 1 Diabetes Management CDCES RN
  • Shifts available:
    • Day shift 7a-7p
    • Night shift 7p-7a
    • PM Swing shift 2p-12a
  • PRN - minimum of 6 shifts/year
  • Excellent multi-specialty and procedural support
  • Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination
  • Open ICU with intensivist availability to consult

Responsibilities
  • Admitting/Rounding on medical/surgical patients 18-years of age and older (adult)
  • Shifts available: Day shift rounding and swing shift; Night admitting and swing shift

Qualifications
  • MD or DO
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine; Must be board certified within year of employment
  • Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa
  • Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician's field of practice
  • Eligible to work in the United States
