Job description

About the Role

The Director supports the Center in the daily operations, staff leadership, licensing compliance, and instructional quality of both Toddler Time CDC and Wise 360 Academy. This is a dual-location role. Your primary daily work location will be Toddler Time Child Development Center, with regular travel to Wise 360 Academy as needed to fulfill your leadership responsibilities. This role is ideal for an experienced educator or program leader who is ready to grow into a higher level of responsibility. You will work closely with the Center Director and ownership to ensure that both centers operate at the highest standard, every day.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing daily center operations, ensuring compliance with licensing regulations and safety standards
  • Support classroom teachers in implementing age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote childhood development and learning
  • Supervise staff members, providing guidance on classroom management, behavior management, and caregiving best practices
  • Coordinate activities related to toddler care, infant care, preschool programs, and special education needs when applicable
  • Oversee health and safety procedures, including first aid response and emergency preparedness protocols
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, staff, and community partners to promote a welcoming environment
  • Assist with staff scheduling, training initiatives, and maintaining documentation related to childcare services

Requirements

  • Proven experience working with children across various age groups such as infants, toddlers, preschoolers, or children with special needs
  • Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices
  • Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are a plus
  • Prior classroom experience in daycare or preschool settings demonstrating classroom management skills
  • Familiarity with behavior management techniques and caregiving strategies for young children
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with staff, parents, and community stakeholders
  • Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude

Join us in shaping the future by providing exceptional care and education to our youngest learners. We are committed to supporting your professional growth through ongoing training opportunities while offering a rewarding environment where your dedication makes a meaningful difference every day.
