- JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
- Performs cardiac diagnostic procedures including EKG, holter electrocardiography, cardiac stress testing and event monitoring. Educates clients as appropriate.
- DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
- Samaritan Health Services Respiratory Therapy team delivers treatment and diagnostic patient care services to critical and non-critical patients. We serve all age groups and patient populations using evidence-based techniques related to the cardiopulmonary system.
- EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- One (1) of the following required:
- Graduate of a cardiac technology program or equivalent EKG Tech experience.
- Six (6) months CNA related experience.
- Healthcare Provider BLS required.
- One (1) year experience or training in EKG, holter monitor or cardiac stress testing preferred.
- CCT credential preferred.
