Overview of position:

We are looking for a Network Engineer Architect, Journeyman to work in Indianapolis, IN.

An active Top-Secret clearance and United States Citizenship are required to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities

· Provide network engineering support for DFAS CCE infrastructure

· Support maintenance of network architecture documentation

· Assist with security infrastructure operations (Firewalls, IPS/IDS, DNSSEC)

· Support web proxy and content filtering operations

· Assist with network security troubleshooting

· Implement DISA STIG configurations under senior guidance

· Support vulnerability scanning and remediation activities

· Document network changes and configurations

· Participate in change control processes

· Support COOP exercises and testing

Experience/Skills:

· 5+ years network engineering experience

· Security X (formerly CASP+) certification

· Knowledge of enterprise network security technologies

· Experience with firewall and IDS/IPS systems

· Understanding of DNS and DNSSEC

· Familiarity with DISA STIG requirements

· Network troubleshooting skills

· Experience with network documentation

· Knowledge of DoD security requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

· CISSP certification (upgrade path)

· Cisco CCNA/CCNP certification

· Experience with DFAS or DoD networks

· Prior classified network experience

· Scripting skills (Python, PowerShell)

· Cloud networking fundamentals

Education:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field

Certifications:

Clearance:

· Active Top-Secret clearance is required.
