Wireless Network Engineer (Secret Clearance)

Who We Are:
ThinkTek LLC is a fast-growing Certified SBA 8(a) and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) company. We specialize in providing management and technology consulting services to support the business and technology modernization efforts of the Federal Government. ThinkTek was formed with the specific purpose of providing its clients a tailored solution around Program & Project Management, Strategic Planning, and IT Operations.

Position Description

ThinkTek is seeking a Network Engineer to support a Department of Defense client in the National Capital Region. This role will contribute to the design, configuration, integration, and deployment of secure network infrastructure in a classified environment. The position offers exposure to the NSA Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) program and the opportunity to develop cybersecurity accreditation expertise alongside hands-on engineering responsibilities.

Responsibilities
  • Configure, test, and deploy network infrastructure components including access points, controllers, firewalls, and security infrastructure
  • Support the development of Engineering Implementation Plans (EIPs) and coordinate deployment activities through established change management processes
  • Perform lab testing and validation of system configurations prior to production deployment
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation including network diagrams, as-built drawings, and configuration records
  • Support the development of Risk Management Framework (RMF) and CSfC accreditation artifacts as the program matures
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network and integration issues during deployment and operational testing
Required Qualifications
  • Active U.S. Department of Defense Secret security clearance
  • DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II baseline certification (Security+, CySA+, CCNA Security, or equivalent)
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with network engineering in DoD or Federal environments, including routing, switching, firewall administration, or wireless infrastructure
  • Demonstrated understanding of network architecture fundamentals, transport security, and encryption
  • Experience producing technical documentation such as network diagrams, configuration guides, or implementation plans
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, network engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may substitute
Desired Qualifications
  • Familiarity with NSA's Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) program and associated Capability Packages
  • Experience with wireless infrastructure (access points, controllers, site surveys, RF or optical wireless)
  • CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent networking certification
  • Experience supporting RMF documentation or ATO processes in DoD environments
  • Active TS/SCI eligibility
