Long-Term Substitute Speech and Language Therapist

At the present time, a part-time, Long-Term Substitute Speech and Language Therapist for school age services within the Student Services division of the Chester County Intermediate Unit. Qualifications:

  • Must have valid PDE certification as a Speech & Language Therapist
  • Master's degree in Communicative Disorders
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence
  • Clinical Fellowship year considered
  • Current police, child abuse and FBI Fingerprint clearances required
  • Clearance as an MA provider by the Commonwealth of PA and federal government (conducted by CCIU upon hire)

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech/language therapy services
  • Complete evaluations and maintain all paperwork for a caseload of students

Salary & Schedule beginning 2025-26 School Year (Professional): PRO, Track I (Masters + 30): $69,938-$106,442/yr. All SLPs with Master's Degree in Speech Pathology/Communication Sciences Disorders - Placement on band is based on years of direct experience in a comparable role. Salary pro-rated based upon full-time equivalency
