Summary:
The Director of Revenue Cycle provides leadership to the ongoing development, implementation and oversight of operations across the Revenue Cycle that Cook Childrens Health Care System (CCHCS) serves. Leads the operational implementation and continued daily functions of Epic Revenue Cycle that supports Cook Childrens Medical Center and Cook Childrens Physician Network. Accountable for the planning and successful transition of Revenue Cycle systems, organizational and operational development of staff within all applicable patient accounting applications (including billing, follow-up collections, bad debt, associated third party applications, and vendor management). Partners with Patient Access, Single Billing Office, Revenue Integrity, Clinical and Business Units then re that Revenue Cycle application and operational needs are performed efficient and cost effective while meeting then needs and goals of the organization.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelors degree in healthcare or business preferred. Masters degree preferred. Management: 4+ years experience in a management or director level role; ability to demonstrate strong leadership within matrix teams. Healthcare/Business: o Detailed knowledge of Patient Accounting, HIM or Patient Access. Expert knowledge of healthcare. Epic: Prior experience with Epic Systems Revenue Cycle Solutions preferred.
