The organization employs a wide range of health care professionals and administrative staff to manage and deliver these services.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a California Correctional Health Care Services healthcare professional?

To thrive as a healthcare professional at CCHCS, you need a valid clinical license (such as RN, LVN, MD, or mental health licenses), knowledge of correctional healthcare protocols, and experience in patient care. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, infection control procedures, and state or federal healthcare regulations is typically required.
