Location: Gloucester, VA
Start Date: August 1, 2026 - June 5, 2027
Schedule: Full-Time | 37.5 hours/week
Caseload: K-12 | 1 School Location

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to join a supportive school district in Gloucester, VA. In this role, you will play a vital part in helping students develop effective communication skills by providing evaluation, intervention, and collaboration services. You will work closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students' academic, social, and functional success.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify communication disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and IEP goals.
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services in individual and group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service providers to support student progress.
  • Monitor, document, and report student progress while adjusting intervention plans as needed.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to educational planning.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Provide consultation and support to school staff regarding communication strategies and interventions.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Active Virginia Speech-Language Pathology license.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
  • Previous school-based experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
