Job description

Job Title: School Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP)


Job Overview:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced CCC-SLP to join our dedicated team as a School Speech-Language Pathologist. The successful candidate will provide essential speech and language therapy services to students in educational settings within St. Louis, St. Charles County, Jefferson County, and Eureka, MO. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience, a passion for working with children, and a commitment to fostering communication skills development.



Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify students' communication disorders and formulate appropriate treatment plans.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions tailored to address students' specific speech and language needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language disorders.
  • Monitor and document students' progress through regular assessments and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Provide guidance and support to educational staff regarding speech and language strategies in the classroom.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the provision of comprehensive services for students.
  • Stay abreast of current trends, research, and best practices in speech-language pathology to enhance professional knowledge and skills.


Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current CCC-SLP certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Missouri state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in school-based speech-language pathology.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to travel within St. Louis, St. Charles County, Jefferson County, and Eureka, MO as needed.
