Position Summary

The Integrated Behavioral Health Clinician (LMSW) provides evidence-based mental health and substance use treatment services within a person-centered, trauma-informed CCBHC setting. Clinicians support children, adolescents, adults, and families through assessment, psychotherapy, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and care coordination while collaborating closely with interdisciplinary providers and community partners.

This role provides valuable experience working with trauma, anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, substance use disorders, co-occurring conditions, and complex psychosocial needs.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Conduct biopsychosocial assessments, intake evaluations, and diagnostic screenings
  • Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy using evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed care
  • Develop collaborative, person-centered treatment plans
  • Deliver crisis intervention, safety planning, and stabilization services
  • Coordinate care with schools, hospitals, ACS, primary care providers, and community organizations
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case conferences
  • Maintain timely and compliant clinical documentation within the EHR system
  • Participate in supervision, clinical consultation, and ongoing professional development

Required Qualifications

  • Masterโ€™s Degree in Social Work (MSW)
  • Active LMSW license in New York State or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • Experience or strong interest in integrated behavioral health and substance use treatment
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices, DSM diagnostic criteria, and trauma-informed care
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual skills (Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Bengali, or other community languages)
  • Experience in community mental health, outpatient, school-based, or integrated care settings
  • Experience working with children, families, or justice-involved populations
  • Familiarity with telehealth and hybrid service delivery

Schedule

  • Hybrid, Tuesdayโ€“Saturday
