Job description

We're searching for a diligent office assistant to provide administrative support. You’ll be responsible for responding to all complaints and questions in a friendly and timely manner, implementing office standards to streamline our processes, scheduling appointments and company trips, ordering office equipment, and marketing our brand through community events and print and digital mediums. Compensation:

$17.50 - $19.50 hourly


Responsibilities:
  • Plan community events to market the company and increase brand awareness
  • Answer phone calls and emails to act as a liaison between clients and staff members to improve customer retention and referral rates
  • Utilize the website, social media, and printed materials to raise our visibility in the community
  • Coordinate any company parties, necessary appointments, or travel
  • Increase productivity by creating record-keeping procedures for customer data filing systems
  • Prepare, maintain, and distribute paperwork, reports, and other documents.
  • Learn and implement legal policies and procedures to navigate cases through the legal environment.
  • The job requires a specialized skillset; therefore, we will provide on-the-job training.
  • Act as a point of contact for complaints or questions from customers.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Technologically savvy; basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel programs and filing systems with the ability to learn new programs quickly and troubleshoot common issues
  • Customer service experience in our industry is preferred
  • Enjoys talking with customers and can communicate through verbal and written channels
  • Proven track record of completing projects on time in an orderly manner
  • Two years of office experience or an associate's degree.
  • Detail-oriented and efficient in computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office suite as well as being open to being trained on our in-house systems.
  • A desire to use critical thinking skills in demanding situations with confidence in ability and training. 
  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions, multitask, and make good decisions in accordance with laws and legal ethics.
  • Willingness to work well with others and communicate effectively with clients, peer staff, supervisors, and attorneys.
