Cavalier Mental and Counseling Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate licensed mental health therapist, specifically a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), to join our remote team. • Conduct thorough mental health assessments, including psychosocial evaluations and diagnostic interviews, to identify patient needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, informed by their specific goals, needs, and cultural contexts.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), across various formats—individual, couples, family, and group sessions.
• Provide crisis intervention services, ensuring swift response and continuity of care for patients in acute distress situations.
• Create and maintain comprehensive clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries, in line with clinic regulations.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, empowering them with strategies to manage their symptoms effectively.
• Engage with a multidisciplinary team—including psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers—to coordinate holistic care for diverse patient populations.
• Conduct outcome assessments regularly to evaluate therapy effectiveness and make informed adjustments to treatment plans.
• Stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in the field, integrating new knowledge into clinical practice.
• Adhere to ethical guidelines, ensuring patient confidentiality and respectful care at all times.

The clientele of Cavalier Mental and Counseling Services represents a diverse group of individuals from various cultural backgrounds, many of whom have experienced trauma. • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license (LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW) to practice in the state of Florida.
• Proficient interpersonal and communication skills, with the capacity to build rapport with a wide array of clients.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team, contributing to a supportive clinical environment.

• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in mental health counseling.
• Experience working within a community health setting or with diverse populations is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.

• The annual salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $84,000, dependent on experience, education, and other relevant factors.
