What is a Catwalk Operator?

This role is crucial for ensuring the safe and efficient transfer of heavy equipment during drilling operations. Catwalk Operators must be highly attentive to safety protocols, operate hydraulic and mechanical systems, and often work closely with drillers and rig floor crews. Attention to detail, teamwork, and strong communication skills make an operator stand out in this demanding environment. These skills and qualities are essential for ensuring safe, efficient handling of drill pipes and equipment on oil rigs.
