Summary of responsibilities:
The Regional Advisor, Deployment Planning and Execution supports the Regional Leader/Regional Advisor to provide the overall coordination and scheduling of the various teams for project tasks including CATSA program deployment, logistics, New Technology Introduction, Service Delivery, Airport Authority, movers/riggers, electrical/data contractors, and shippers. In addition, the incumbent will be required to attend deployments on-site to ensure successful delivery, installation, testing, and Go-Lives. Extensive travel will be required throughout the Region.
What you need to succeed
To qualify for the position, you must have:
Graduation from a recognized college or university with specialization in logistics, technology, engineering, or another specialty relevant to the duties of the position.
A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a technology environment involving equipment deployments.
A minimum of three (3) years of experience scheduling, planning and project management for the deployment, delivery and installation (in a commercial or industrial environment) of heavy and complex pieces of equipment.
Experience planning and overseeing a schedule and project tracking activities.
Knowledge of root cause failure analysis of equipment.
Knowledge of logistics management practices and principles.
Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.

Knowledge of CATSA's mandate and priorities, as well as an awareness of relevant legislation impacting CATSA.
Specific work requirements:
Ability to travel as required.
