At Align Precision, this position plays a critical role in developing and optimizing machining strategies for high-performance aerospace components, with a strong focus on precision, efficiency, process improvement, and technical problem solving.

This is not a button-pushing role. This is a high-level CNC programming position supporting complex titanium and forged aerospace components where programming knowledge, troubleshooting ability, and machining strategy directly impact production success. The Work You'll Be Doing In this role, you will: Program complex aerospace components utilizing 4, 5, and 6-axis machining platforms Develop machining strategies for forged materials and exotic aerospace alloys Utilize CATIA and/or Mastercam for CNC programming Simulate and verify programs using Vericut Design fixturing concepts using CAD systems Work directly with machinists and operators on the shop floor to troubleshoot and improve machining processes Select tooling and optimize cutting strategies for difficult-to-machine materials Interpret aerospace blueprints and GD&T requirements Analyze manufacturing processes to improve productivity and efficiency Support engineering documentation, process improvements, and technical reporting Assist with technical troubleshooting and production-related customer issues Participate in continuous improvement initiatives throughout manufacturing operations Machines, Controls & SoftwareYou'll work with technologies such as: Machining: 4-Axis CNC Machines 5-Axis CNC Machines 6-Axis CNC Machines Multi-Axis Aerospace Machining Platforms CAM / Software: CATIA Mastercam Vericut (required) CAD Systems for Fixturing Design Inspection & Engineering: Aerospace GD&T Technical Documentation Process Analysis & Optimization Materials You'll Work With Titanium Forged Aerospace Materials Exotic Aerospace Alloys What We're Looking ForRequired: 6+ years of CNC programming experience Strong multi-axis machining experience (4/5/6 axis) Aerospace machining background Experience machining titanium and exotic materials Strong understanding of tooling applications and cutting strategies Ability to read and interpret aerospace blueprints and GD&T Experience troubleshooting machining processes directly on the production floor Vericut experience required Preferred: Experience with both CATIA and Mastercam Fixturing design experience using CAD systems Process engineering or manufacturing optimization background Experience supporting operators and improving production efficiency Why Machinists & Programmers Like Working Here Professionals choose ALIGN PRECISION because of the complexity of the work, the technical environment, and the opportunity to work on advanced aerospace manufacturing programs.
