Description
St. Ann - South Chesterfield is seeking a faith-filled, compassionate, and organized Pastoral Associate to provide pastoral care, coordinate parish ministries, and lead social outreach efforts in support of our parish community.
The Pastoral Associate collaborates with the pastor, deacon, staff, and consultative bodies in implementing the mission of the parish.
Requirements
  • Catholic in good standing.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Education and/or 1-2 years of experience in theology, social work, pastoral ministry, or a related field required.
  • Experience working with underserved populations preferred.
  • Understanding of Catholic Social Teaching and principals, spiritual and sacramental practices within the Roman Catholic tradition.
  • Strong pastoral presence, compassion, empathy, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational, budgeting, record-keeping, and volunteer leadership skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
