Job description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with at least 6 months of current acute care hospital Cath Lab experience and active ARRT or RCIS/RCES certification for a cardiac cath lab position in Colorado.
Job Details
• Cardiac cath lab setting with 3 holding bays and 2 cath suites,
• Staff-to-patient ratio of 3:1 in the procedural area,
• Procedures include LHC, RHC, PCI, peripheral diagnostic and intervention, pacers, ICDs, cardioversions, TEEs, tilt table tests, and dobutamine stress tests,
• Uses GE Innova Fluoroscopy Systems and Mac Lab,
• EMR system: Meditech,
• Day shift hours of 6:45 AM - 4:15 PM (CVL) or 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (pre/post, variable),
• On-call responsibilities are shared evenly among the team, typically 8-12 call days per 4-week schedule with approximately one weekend call per block,
Job Requirements
• Minimum 6 months of current acute care hospital Cath Lab Tech experience within the last 6 months,
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or ARC accepted; certifications must not expire within 30 days of start),
• ARRT (R), RCIS, or RCES required; ARRT (CI) or (CV) preferred,
• Candidates holding RCIS or RCES must be willing and able to apply for and register as a Fluoroscopy Operator in Colorado with DORA prior to starting,
• Holding and monitoring experience preferred,
• Must reside within 30 miles of the facility to fulfill on-call obligations,
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position,
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months,
• License required if applicable,
Additional Information
• Performs cardiac and peripheral cath lab procedures as well as EP-related cases including cardioversions, pacer and ICD work, TEEs, and stress testing,
• On-call is distributed evenly across a 4-week schedule; every effort is made to limit weekend call to one per block, though this is not always possible,
• Ideal candidates are positive, flexible, and highly engaged in quality patient care,
• SSN and DOB required for consideration; Canadian SSNs are not accepted,
• First-time travelers are not specified as eligible for this position
