Job description

Pre-Employment Requirements:

  • We are a drug free facility. Passing a pre-employment drug screening is required.

Education/License Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing program required.
  • Current Alabama Registered Nursing License.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS Card.
  • Current American Heart Association ACLS Card.

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year ICU/Critical Care nursing experience required.
  • Cath Lab experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to demonstrate all skills required of a staff RN.
  • Must possess good verbal and written communication.
  • Demonstrates ability to carry out detailed written or verbal instructions independently.
  • Effective communication and excellent customer service, interpersonal and critical thinking skills required.
  • Ability to function independently and exercise judgment in interactions with physicians, inter professional care team and patients, and their families.
  • Must be able to take call at night and on weekends; plus, two holidays a year.
