Job description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring prior Cath Lab or IR experience and recent travel assignment history.
Job Details
• Work in the Cath Lab unit of a hospital setting,
• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization and EP procedures,
• Includes left and right heart catheterizations and pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring,
• Administer and monitor procedural sedation,
• Day shift schedule with variable starts, working 4x10 hour shifts,
• Ability to float to other UCSF facilities as needed within a 75+ mile radius,
• Uses Epic charting system,
Job Requirements
• Active CA RN license required,
• BSN required,
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required,
• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab or IR experience required,
• Minimum 3-5 years of combined experience in PACU, ICU, CCU, and/or Cath Lab required,
• Minimum 5 years of clinic nursing experience required,
• Knowledge of diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac catheterization and EP procedures, equipment, accessories, sterile technique, and patient care required,
• Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias required,
• Epic charting system experience required,
• Prior travel assignment experience within the last 12 months required,
• Proof of COVID vaccination and booster required for consideration,

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization and EP procedures,
• Prior teaching hospital experience preferred,
• May be reassigned to a different department, unit, or facility during the assignment if job specifications are met
