Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring at least 2 years of experience, Epic proficiency, and on-call availability in a Milwaukee-area hospital.

Details
  • Work setting is a hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab
  • Shift is 8 hours, 4 days per week, Monday through Friday with varying start times between 6:00 AM and 4:30 PM
  • On-call is required based on department needs, averaging 1–2 weekday evenings (5:00 PM–6:00 AM) and every 4th weekend (Friday 5:00 PM through Monday 6:00 AM)
  • Floating may be required within skill set to onsite units or to affiliated sites within a 40-mile radius
  • Charting is performed in Epic
  • 13-week contract
Requirements
  • Active WI RN license or compact RN license (must be in hand at time of consideration)
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications, both must be AHA-issued
  • Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Travel nursing experience preferred
  • Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a valid US home address
  • Must provide a copy of Driver's License, 2 professional references, and current license verification (Nursys)
Additional Information
  • Holiday coverage is on a rotating basis with regular staff; must be available to work the July 4th holiday
  • Local candidates are welcome to apply, though a radius rule applies that may affect the pay rate
