Cath Lab RNs, or Catheterization Laboratory Registered Nurses, are specialized nurses who assist doctors during cardiac catheterization procedures and other diagnostic tests related to the heart. They monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, administer medications, and provide education and support to patients and families. Cath Lab RNs play a crucial role in ensuring patient safety and helping to manage any complications that may arise during these high-stakes procedures.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Cath Lab RN, and why are they important?

These abilities ensure the safe delivery of complex cardiac procedures, rapid response to complications, and seamless teamwork in high-stakes environments.
