Qualifications / Job Requirements
  • Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent Cath Lab RN experience prior to travel — experience in cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology preferred
  • Active Ohio RN license or Compact State RN license in hand
  • American Heart Association BLS & ACLS certifications (active, not pending)
  • Epic charting experience required
  • Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
  • Two professional references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in Cath Lab within the past 12 months
  • COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
Responsibilities
  • Circulate and document during cardiac catheterization procedures and other interventional cardiology cases
  • Provide high-quality, evidence-based patient care in the Cath Lab setting as a registered nurse
  • Participate in on-call rotation and respond to urgent cardiac cases per unit protocol
  • Collaborate with interventional cardiologists, technologists, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic electronic medical records
  • Work at least every other holiday during the contract and complete required orientation modules and assessments
