Additionally, the perioperative resource nurse may be assigned as a secondary caregiver in SICU to assist in the care of a patient recovering from general anesthesia or a trauma patient transferred to the SICU from the Emergency Department.
Other information:
Previous Experience Required: Must have 2 years of nursing experience in periop, Telemetry, ED or Critical Care services.
Specialized or Technical Education Required: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and be currently licensed by the State Board of Nurse Examiners. Membership in a professional organization is encouraged.
