Job description

Do you like to be creative and work in an inclusive, professional environment? If so, join the Creative Dining team at The College of Wooster.

We are looking for friendly, experienced food service professionals to complete our night cater waiter team, providing high-quality catered events to the campus community. Our staff has opportunities for training and advancement and time off between semesters to spend with family and friends during the winter holidays.

Core Responsibilities:

1. Sets up, serve and maintains coffee breaks, breakfast, lunch, dinner, receptions – both buffets & served and cleans up

2. Ensures all dishes, utensils, and other equipment are clean and properly returned

3. Follow all food safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.

4. Provide superior customer service.

5. Communicate regularly with management about workplace needs and improvements.

6. Other duties as assigned.

Schedule is based on bookings, could be morning afternoons, or nights. Hours may change during summer and breaks in the school year.

Physical Demands/Environment: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Environment may include hot, humid or cold conditions.
