Job description

Due to continued growth, Brandt is seeking a dynamic and experienced Category Manager specializing in Undercarriage and Ground Engaging products. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and significantly enhance a high-demand product portfolio with substantial growth potential.

As our Category Manager, you will become Brandt’s foremost expert on undercarriage and ground-engaging products. You will leverage your extensive knowledge to provide strategic direction, drive sales, and increase margin growth. You will closely collaborate with our Regional Customer Support Managers (RCSMs), Customer Support Advisors (CSAs) and in-branch Parts Managers to successfully execute Brandt's parts programs and drive overall product performance.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive Annual Business Plans and strategies aimed at achieving aggressive sales and margin growth objectives.
  • Serve as the primary internal expert and resource for undercarriage and ground engaging products, providing vital information, insights, and strategic guidance.
  • Lead coaching and training initiatives for CSAs, Parts, and Service Managers, equipping them with the essential skills and knowledge to successfully support sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Establish and maintain strong vendor relationships, including identifying and onboarding new vendors to enhance product offerings.
  • Conduct ongoing market intelligence research to analyze competition, customer behaviors, pricing trends, and market developments.
  • Analyze detailed sales and margin data to identify growth opportunities and areas for performance enhancement across branches.
  • Proactively identify, evaluate, and introduce new products, ensuring effective stocking, promotion, and market penetration.
  • Actively promote new and used parts sales, emphasizing innovative parts programs designed to meet and exceed customer needs.
  • Facilitate the creation and continuous improvement of an efficient and accurate parts database.
