The Work Itself

The Account Executive represents, supports, and develops relationships between Catalyst Corporate and executive management at assigned credit unions. The incumbent uses a consultative approach to manage the clients existing book of business, provide market insights, develop account plans, and territory plans. The incumbentโ€™s primary objective is to develop, maintain and execute on renewal strategies to protect revenue, negotiate contracts, and increase share of wallet and develop new business within the assigned credit unions. An emphasis and more focused effort will be exerted toward key strategic services. Incumbent will foster in-depth and productive relationships at all levels with both the credit union and Catalyst departments and will promote the use of Catalyst products and services with the goal to position the business to shape and capitalize on emerging consumer and market needs.

The Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Minimum three (3) years relationship management, business development, consulting, or sales experience required.
  • Minimum three (3) years managing relationships in a B2B environment
  • Strong customer service skills to resolve conflicts, lead customer satisfaction surveys
  • Track record of successfully managing a book of business, minimizing attrition, and maximizing revenue for the organization
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Exceptional communication skills written, verbal, listening
  • Demonstrate excellent reasoning and analytical skills; strong executive presentation, problem solving, and negotiation skills with ability to influence decisions of others
  • Has experience and understands the importance of managing CRM applications
  • Ability to interpret P&L Statement, NCUA 5300 Call Report and monthly financial statementsk.
  • Ability to travel up to 60% of the time
