Catalysts are substances that speed up chemical reactions without being consumed in the process. They work by lowering the activation energy required for the reaction to occur, making it easier and faster for reactants to turn into products. Catalysts are widely used in industrial processes, such as refining petroleum, making fertilizers, and producing pharmaceuticals. They are essential for increasing efficiency and reducing energy usage in many chemical reactions.

How does a catalyst typically collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive organizational change?

Catalysts are often responsible for initiating and accelerating change within organizations, which requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams.
