Role Description
Topsoe is hiring for a Catalyst Technician at its US office, located in the Clear Lake area of Houston, TX. As a Catalyst Technician in our Clean Fuels team you will be involved in supporting clients during catalyst loadings in the US and Canada to ensure catalyst is loaded within Topsoe's guidelines. You will work closely with our Technical Service and Sales Teams to prioritize and support the catalyst sales with on-site advise to ensure successful use of Topsoe's catalyst products.
Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site catalyst loadings advise in the US and Canada to clients on loading best practices.
  • Comply with all safety and security requirements and training for visiting client's sites.
  • Answer client questions related to catalyst loading.
  • Prepare catalyst loading reports for clients detailing the types, quantities of the catalysts loaded.
  • Update Topsoe's internal sales system (CRM database) with the types and quantities of catalysts loaded.
  • Travel can be up to 60-70% of the time to support on-site catalyst related activities. When not traveling for work attendance in office is mandatory.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma
  • Ability to obtain TWIC
  • Experience with catalyst loading, particularly of hydrotreating reactors is a plus but not required - training will be provided.

Skills
  • Good professional communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
