Job description

The Strategic Growth Department of one of the fastest-growing accounting firms in the country, is seeking a Social Media Lead who is motivated to learn, excited to collaborate and passionate about delivering outstanding results. This individual will have a direct impact on our firm's mission of serving as a catalyst for those striving to achieve their highest potential. 

The Social Media Lead supports Anders' national brand awareness, SEO strategy, and lead generation goals through two primary responsibilities: 

  • Social Media Execution
  • Graphic Design & Brand Asset Development 

This role manages day-to-day social media publishing and reporting, primarily on LinkedIn, with secondary activity on Facebook and tertiary activity on Instagram. The lead partners closely with the Content Strategy Senior Manager whose team creates the written content. 

The Social Media Lead combines creative design skills with strong business acumen and an understanding of how social media supports brand visibility, SEO, and lead-generation outcomes. Experience in professional services, especially accounting, tax, or advisory, is strongly preferred. 

What You'll Do:

Graphic Design & Brand Asset Production (45%) 

  • Develop on-brand graphics for social media posts, blogs, landing pages, and campaigns 
  • Create marketing collateral including:  
    • Sell sheets 
    • Downloadable PDFs 
    • Infographics 
    • Event materials 
    • Presentations 
    • Email Templates 
    • Advertisements 
  • Follow Anders' brand guidelines to ensure visual consistency across all content 
  • Translate complex accounting, tax, and advisory concepts into clear, visually compelling graphics 
  • Maintain organized design files, templates, and asset libraries 
  • Collaborate with Brand Manager and Market Growth team on ongoing design needs 

 Social Media Management (45%) 

  • Execute Anders' social media strategy with a primary focus on LinkedIn for brand awareness, SEO, and support lead generation.  Secondary support for Facebook and Instagram for employee advocacy, talent acquisition, and culture.  
  • Manage the entire social ecosystem to support brand, thought leadership, employee advocacy and community engagement 
  • Publish daily social content aligned with brand standards, SEO strategy, and national awareness goals 
  • Monitor social engagement, follower growth, click-through performance, and other key metrics available via LinkedIn analytics 
  • Track downstream performance including web sessions, referral traffic, and content interaction using Google Analytics and Google Search Console 
  • Use HubSpot and Sprout Social (or comparable tools) to schedule, optimize, and measure social media activity 
  • Coordinate with the Content Strategy Senior Manager to ensure accurate execution of the editorial calendar 
  • Stay informed on platform trends and recommend improvements to increase visibility, engagement, and lead influence 
  • Support recruitment and employer branding needs through social media content 

Metrics, Optimization & Reporting (10%) 

  • Produce monthly and quarterly social performance reports 
  • Analyze social-to-web activity, including SEO-supporting signals and referral behavior 
  • Identify trends and insights to improve reach, engagement, and content effectiveness 
  • Recommend A/B tests or creative variations to improve performance 

What We're Looking For:  

  • Proficiency in graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Cloud required; Figma or Canva a plus) 
  • Experience managing LinkedIn company pages and scheduling tools (Sprout Social preferred) 
  • Familiarity with HubSpot, SEMrush, or similar marketing automation platforms 
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Search Console 
  • Experience using AI tools for idea generation, content writing, and graphic design (e.g., brainstorming post ideas, drafting captions or copy, generating design concepts, etc.) 
  • Sharp design instincts and ability to follow a well-defined brand system 
  • Strong understanding of social media best practices and digital engagement metrics 
  • Ability to translate data and insights into recommendations 
  • Strong written communication skills 
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts 
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and deadline discipline 
  • Short-form video editing preferred
  • Experience designing infographics or data visualizations preferred
  • Interest in emerging platforms or social media trends preferred

Your Qualifications:

  • 7-9 years of experience in social media, marketing, or design roles 
  • Understanding of B2B or professional services marketing 
  • Experience in accounting, finance, or advisory environments is strongly preferred
