The NICU Respiratory Care Clinical Educator will join a nationally recognized children's hospital celebrated for quality, safety, and patient experience, where the institution's neonatal intensive care program is supported by leading-edge technology such as high-frequency ventilation, jet ventilation, inhaled nitric oxide, and ECMO, alongside a robust simulation center and advanced analytics to drive evidence-based practice and outcomes. The NICU Respiratory Care Clinical Educator will benefit from an organization distinguished by prestigious accreditations, breakthrough quality initiatives, strong community philanthropy, and a culture committed to continuous improvement, research collaboration, and professional growth.

The NICU Respiratory Care Clinical Educator will report to the Director of Respiratory Care with close collaboration alongside the NICU Nurse Manager and the Neonatology Medical Director to align clinical education with service-line strategy, accreditation standards, and performance metrics. The NICU Respiratory Care Clinical Educator will design and deliver onboarding, competency validation, skills labs, simulation drills, NRP activities, and evidence-based respiratory protocols while championing interprofessional rounding, mock codes, and bedside coaching for complex ventilator management. The NICU Respiratory Care Clinical Educator will thrive with strong support from a dedicated education department, clinical nurse specialists, and informatics partners, and will be embraced by friendly NICU nurses and a diverse healthcare team of neonatologists, NNPs, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, dietitians, physical and occupational therapists, social workers, case managers, and allied professionals who value collaboration and inclusion.
