Job description

Job DescriptionSummary/objective

The Yard torcher is responsible for dismantling vehicles and other equipment to extract nonferrous metals.

Essential functions

  • Extract catalytic converters along with other nonferrous materials
  • Ensure all materials are properly segregated
  • Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and tracking the movement of materials
  • Foster positive relationships with customers and vendors to encourage repeat business and maintain a positive reputation in the industry.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding salvage yard operations.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, including enforcing safety protocols and ensuring that all employees are adhering to environmental regulations.
