Job description

Litigation Paralegal (First-Party Property Litigation)

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal with 1-2+ years of First-Party Property Litigation experience to join our client's dynamic legal team. This role will support attorneys in all phases of property insurance litigation and play an integral part in case management, discovery, and trial preparation.
Key Responsibilities
  • Case Management: Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are accurate, current, and readily accessible.
  • Legal Research: Conduct legal and factual research to support litigation strategy and case development.
  • Drafting & Filing: Prepare, proofread, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, subpoenas, and correspondence.
  • Discovery Support: Assist attorneys with all aspects of discovery, including collecting, reviewing, and organizing documents and evidence.
  • Trial Preparation: Coordinate trial logistics, prepare trial binders, manage exhibits, witness lists, and other trial-related materials.
  • Calendar Management: Monitor litigation deadlines, court hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial dates.
  • Client Communication: Serve as a point of contact for clients, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnel as needed.
Requirements
  • 1-2+ years of experience in First-Party Property Litigation and/or Property & Casualty Litigation.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced litigation environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting plaintiff-side property insurance litigation.
  • Familiarity with Georgia state court procedures and e-filing requirements.
  • Trial preparation experience.
