Are you an organized accounting professional who enjoys solving problems, working with numbers, and making an impact behind the scenes? We're partnering with a well-established organization in the Castleton area that is looking to add a Billing Specialist to their team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where your attention to detail and customer service skills will play a key role in keeping financial operations running smoothly.
Whether you're an experienced billing professional or have a strong accounting background with a passion for accuracy, this position offers valuable hands-on experience, a supportive team environment, and the chance to make an immediate contribution to the organization.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, review, and process customer invoices accurately and timely
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries
  • Maintain billing records and supporting documentation
  • Work closely with accounting, sales, and customer service teams
  • Monitor accounts and ensure compliance with company billing procedures
  • Assist with reporting, reconciliations, and other accounting-related projects as needed
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of billing, accounts receivable, or related accounting experience
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
