Job description


Principal Accountabilities:
1. Coordinates patient's meal plans with healthcare professionals and nutritionists.
2. Takes patient meal orders via phone and at the bedside.
3. Assists with meal selections while taking into consideration cultural and/or religious preferences.
4. Monitors patient meal tickets- this includes reviewing and modifying as needed to comply with prescribed diet order.
5. Processes new diets, changes, tube feedings and NPO orders efficiently while keeping accurate records.
6. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. 0-3 years of prior experience.
Preferred:
1. Prior experience in a call center other healthcare setting preferred.
