Job description

******This job will be located in Clearwater, FL******

We want to bring two experienced Network Engineers to work in our Network Operations Center in Clearwater. The ideal candidates would have on-the-job experience and proven competency in the following activities:

  • Configuration of L2 and L3 switches, including the basics of device naming, NTP, authentication (SSH, RADIUS, etc.), and SNMP, as well as VLANs and interfaces, spanning trees (RSTP, MSTP), and static routes.
  • Configuration of routers, including LAN and WAN interface configuration, VLANs, subnetting and supernetting, DHCP, and routing.
  • Configuration of onsite and cloud-based wireless controllers, including access point provisioning, wireless network turn-up, AP and WLAN grouping, and VLAN assignments.
  • The end-to-end network configuration of all such devices above will result in a new, network-wide wireless or wired network.

Candidates should have experience with several brands of networking equipment and be exposed to different CLI types and GUI configurations. A plus if the candidate has experience with any of the following: Ruckus, HP ProCurve, Aruba, Brocade, Meraki, RG Nets, pfSense, or Cisco.

Familiarity with the following would be a plus: VDSL, AAA, site-to-site VPN tunnels, VMWare and virtualization, basic Linux commands, wireless point-to-points, or scripting/light programming.
