Job description

Overview
The Count Room Supervisor is responsible for assuring the efficient and smooth operation of the Count Room in accordance with gaming regulations and accounting procedures.
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for efficient overall operation of the Count Room and staff.
  • Assure that Count Room procedures are followed in compliance with gaming regulations.
  • Completion of financial reports, paper work, and security of information within.
  • Assure compliance of internal controls for all accounting and cash handling.
  • Review staffing levels to maintain budgeted levels of employment. Delegate authority and assign responsibilities.
  • Development of staff, interviews, hires, and evaluates.
  • Manage processes and procedures to reduce loss time injuries.
  • Review count room activities with Count Room Manager.
  • Meet with departmental directors and managers as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Five to seven years' experience in casino finance or banking with a 4-year degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Valid gaming license.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required.
  • Ability to deliver a service level which creates an atmosphere that makes our guests want to return, giving each guest a positive, memorable experience.
  • Commitment to routinely go above and beyond in the accomplishment of position responsibilities in an effort to play a role in the achievement of organizational goals.
  • Must present an image of excitement and enthusiasm, while being able to project a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
  • Display strong work ethic and team work.
