Job description

Job Description
The Casino Cocktail Server is responsible for providing fast, friendly, and professional beverage service to casino guests on the gaming floor, lounges, and high-limit areas. This role focuses on creating a welcoming environment, ensuring regulatory compliance (age verification & alcohol service), and maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
  • Provide fast, friendly drink service to guests
  • Take and deliver orders accurately using our POS system
  • Maintain a clean, organized service area
  • Follow responsible alcohol service and ID guidelines
  • Work collaboratively with bartenders and floor supervisors
  • Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude
  • Ability to carry trays with multiple drinks
  • Comfortable standing/walking for long periods.
  • Work is performed in crowded areas, with some areas having as little as two (2) feet access;
  • Work involves chemical usage.
  • Ability to tolerate varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination, and air quality.
  • All other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Must be minimally 21 years old
  • Must have or obtain alcohol awareness training.
  • Previous hospitality or cocktail service experience preferred.
  • Ability to read, write and speak in English.
  • Establish and maintain an effective working relationship with IGB, management, co-workers and guests.
  • Ability to perform intermediate math.
  • Ability to handle money and accurately make change using a POS system.
  • Team oriented; enjoy working with and serving the public.
  • Ability to work any shift.
  • Requires bending, reaching and prolonged standing.
  • Requires accessing items at floor level to six (6) feet.
  • Requires transporting and maneuvering drink trays weighing up to fifty (50) pounds.
  • Requires maneuvering through crowded casino areas.
  • Requires normal sense of smell, taste, touch and sound.
  • Ability to see.
  • Requires eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Requires the ability to distinguish letters, figures or symbols.
  • Requires handling money and making correct change while operating a POS system.
  • Communicates directly with guests and management.
  • Understands and complies with policies and procedures, job description and other instructions.

Salary Range: $9 per hour plus tips
