The Atlantic Region Central Billing Office ("ARCBO") or ("CBO") provides business office services including billing, collections, cash posting, pre-access management, variance, and customer service to our affiliated Universal Health Services hospitals.

The Atlantic Region CBO is seeking a dynamic and talented Cashiering Team Lead.
The Cashiering Team Lead is responsible to work in conjunction with the Cashiering Manager to coordinate the training and process improvements of the cashiering department. Assures timely posting of all remittances to patient accounts.
Key Responsibilities include:
  • Provides initial and ongoing training to staff to ensure policies and procedures are maintained.
  • Completes daily cashiering functions as described in the Cashiering Specialist job description.
  • Prepares daily deposit and reconciliation of all cashiers for day end processing.
  • Assures daily processing of cash receipts and timely posting of all payments, adjustments and allowances.
  • Research and resolve issues associated with the unapplied cash account.
  • Correct errors associated with end cashier posting identified post end of day processing.
  • Serve as a resource to the Cashiering Specialists in the department as a first line attempt to resolve posting issues.
  • Review and/or create daily, weekly and monthly balancing and reconciliation reports as assigned.
  • Monitor daily productivity of each Cashiering Specialist to assure defined goals and objectives of department are met.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Position Requirements:
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Customer focused both internally and externally, strong attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, strong 10 key data entry, and excellent written and oral communication skills are required.
  • Familiarity insurance collections and 1-3 years healthcare business office experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required, Associates Degree or higher preferred.
  • 1-3 years cash posting experience preferred.
  • 1-3 years supervisory experience preferred.
