Job description

The Cash & Trade Proc Int Assoc Analyst is an intermediate level role responsible for day to day processing of cash or trade instructions while assisting on any projects and initiatives related to cash management in coordination with the Transaction Services team. The overall objective is to ensure transactions are completed timely and accurately with excellent client communications, while helping various internal roles related to cash and trade management.
Responsibilities:
  • Process client directed transactions ensuring they are executed correctly and are compliant with internal policies and controls
  • Provide excellent client service, demonstrating clear and accurate communication.
  • Assist in the investigation, documentation and corrective action implementation of all required issues as directed
  • Aid with the transition, alignment, and stabilization efforts of critical operations functions
  • Assist as required for control, risk, daily activities, and transaction services projects
  • Provide informal guidance or on the job training to new team members as required
  • Cross-train for various internal roles within the department, and provide back-up coverage for those roles as needed
  • Anticipate and respond to requests for deliverables from internal and external clients and vendors
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated cash and trade operations experience & knowledge
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfortable with data entry

Education:
  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
